Accounting Manager

KBW Financial has partnered with a growing organization based out of Milford MA that is actively looking to add an Accounting Manager to their growing team! The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, including preparation of financial statements, month/year end close, and other duties as assigned. The Accounting Manager will perform the following:

Responsibilities:

• Manage core accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger oversight
• Lead the monthly and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and account reconciliations
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring alignment with GAAP standards
• Develop, document, and reinforce internal controls, accounting policies, and standard procedures
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide direction, set objectives, and conduct regular performance feedback
• Ensure full compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations, as well as internal corporate policies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, operations, and other departments to support financial decisions and company goals
• Drive process improvements, system optimization, and automation initiatives within the accounting function
