Senior Finance Consultant
JOB SUMMARY
A well established organization seeks a Senior Finance Consultant to evaluate and modernize current financial and operational processes. This role will analyze existing systems and SOPs, collaborate closely with leadership, and recommend technology and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting. The consultant will also help transition responsibilities from a retiring part-time CFO and support the hiring and onboarding of future finance staff.
Responsibilities:

Analyze and improve existing SOPs related to financial reporting, commissions, and payroll processes.

Assess legacy database and reporting systems; recommend and help implement modern solutions.

Work with current finance personnel to document and automate weekly activities.

Guide leadership on technology evaluations and participate in vendor demonstrations and implementations.

Collaborate closely with company owners to ensure alignment on process improvements and technology investments.

Assist in defining future finance team needs and support transition planning.
Qualifications:

Strong experience in financial process analysis and modernization.

Proficiency with Access, Excel, QuickBooks, and payroll systems preferred.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with senior leadership.

Demonstrated ability to assess and recommend financial systems and process improvements.

Experience working in advisory or consulting roles is a plus.
