Staff Accountant

Growing life sciences company in Southern Maine is searching for a Staff Accountant to join their ever growing accounting team. Right now, the company is looking for a Staff Accountant with at least 1+ years of experience working within the general ledger. Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
-Prepare monthly account reconciliations
-Prepare routine journal entries to be reviewed by accounting manager
-Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year end closing process
-Assist in the preparation of financial and management reports and ad-Hoc requests
-Work with accounting during inventory counts
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant position:
-Minimum 1+ years of General ledger experience
-Minimum Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required
-Strong ERP system experience
Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 + competitive benefits
